You wear a pendant around your neck and/or one on wrist. Should you come upon any type of emergency just push the button and emergency help will be sent to you. I've had Direct Link for at least 5 yrs now, since I live alone. If you hear a burgular type situation, push the button. It really allows many to live alone w/safety, and Peace of Mind.
