Phone the helpline on 08453003900 and ask themf or the reason for the overpayment. If the explanation they give you implies the overpayment was their fault then ask for a dispute form and they will send that to you. If you fill out the form and send it back to them they will look into the overpayment and decide if it's justified to ask you to pay the money back. If you aren't successful in the dispute then you will need to pay the money back and can do so at an affordable rate which suits you. There was a lot of fuss a couple of years back about this sort of thing, with some people going as far to say that this was not legal, but i don't think you'll find any way around it.
