How do police get rid of the marijuana they have confiscated?
after police have confiscated weed how do they get rid of it? do they smoke it or sell it or something? I mean i just read a news article about police uncovering 740 pounds of marijuana you can’t just have it sitting around a police department forever. just wondering!

They most likely give it to bush and let him “dispose of it his own way.” Watch out.

I think they dispose of it in the homes of peole they don’t like so that if those people ever get uppity, the officer can invent a “good” reason to arrest them.
Well around where I live they burn it at a steel mill. They put it all in plastic bags, wrap the plastic bags in duct tape and throw them in the furnaces that are used to melt metal – this same scenario holds true for confiscated firearms.
I would imagine that they just burn it or something. it would be a lot funnier if they were all sitting around smoking it, but that’s pretty unlikely (hell, maybe that’s why they eat so many donuts? munchie munchie?). and I can’t imagine they’d risk just throwing it away, b/c people are desperate enough to go desperate diving if they want a high really badly.
Well if u ever heard the news about the L.A. Police…2 cops were sellling out in the streets and busting other drug dealers and taking their money and stash…or planting guns on innocent guys just to arrest them…Supposedly they have a House or some kind of Quarantine place where they lock all that crap up…but the Police are Thugs in Uniform
lol.. They burn half of the marijuana, and sells the other half so that they have money to buy police cars, guns, and handcuffs! .. hehe!!..
It is eventually burned…and then the police take notes of the freaks up on the chimney with long hair, skate boards and piercings

Actually yes you can have marijuana and other things that were confiscated by the police, lying around in police lockdown. This is done so that it does not find it’s way back onto the streets. I believe, although I could be mistaken, but I believe that after a certain period of time, everything is transferred to a holding warehouse where it’s kept indefinitely.

some of the more thoughtful of us take it home, we have a special way of incinerating it.
They burn it in a big bonfire, and totally don’t inhale the smoke. Like, at all. And stuff.
i remember years ago they incinerated a bunch of hash they found that sound drugrunner had heaved overboard, wish i had found it first, I bet they do the same now, hopefully they burn it in one of those trash to electricity plants at least.
invader they terribly burn it but i have noticed a few officers standing just close enough.i think most people enjoy a good buzz now and again.
Depends on what kind of pot it is. They can do a couple of things burn it or give it to scientist to do research. Pot can be used for many purposes besides getting high.
