I think company pensions are really a discretion of the company. Employees cannot demand for this as this is not mandated by law. And just like what’s said in the earlier only the largest companies do this, because they are the ones who have the money for this benefit. It would be great for employees to have this benefit so they should be willing to trade higher salaries in smaller companies to slightly lower salary n bigger companies but with better benefits, like the pension benefit.
