If there only income is social security. How does the person get their judgement from an elderly person on a non secured credit card? They also have no money in the bank so that is not an option.

I think its a waste of time especially if the elderly person is very close to getting back what they pay in taxes. The elderly who are on a small pension should not have to worrying with paying and filing taxes. They have paid there dues to society. The government is so greedy.
There are some that I know who still pay taxes and file every year, who have small pensions. Why won’t the government just stop taking taxes out of their pensions?
I believe the Bible is speaking of tithes and offerings.

Well I have no experience in caring for elderly people at all but I have recently decided to follow my dream and work towards a future in caring for elderly. Only not in a nursing home but actually going to the homes of the elderly and helping. I’m 25 years old, what should my next step be? Should I go to college and what qualifications would I need? The easiest way to get an elderly person off the ground if they fall and they can not get up and a step/ledge of some sort is not present? This needs to be easy enough for an elderly man to do also.

I have an assignment for which I have to design an electronic handheld device which can be used by elderly people to support them in completing everyday tasks. I don’t know anyone elderly to ask so if anyone has any suggestions/knowledge about what sort of tasks elderly people find difficult, then any ideas would be much appreciated.

I’m not making fun of this, but my wording is the best way to describe this.

Why do elderly people constantly bobble their heads? The action is identical to the toy of the same name. I see this in elderly people all the time. It seems like it’s pretty common. I’d guess maybe 1 in 15 elderly people are bobbleheads.

*Does this condition have a name?
*What causes it?
*Why is it so common?
*Doesn’t it annoy the person to feel their head bobbling?
*What happens if they don’t allow their head to bobble, for example, if they wore one of those foam neck brace things?
