Yes a pensioner can take up smoking, but why would you want to.
It is a disgusting habit, very expensive can cause lung cancer and all your clothes and hair smell of it.
You can no longer smoke in a public place in the UK now so have to go outside in the cold & wet for a cigarette.
Take it from one who knows, I used to smoke but gave up in1994 and it was the best thing I ever did.

If you are over 90 its because you have never had the health problems that are associated with smoking. The nicotine coats the lungs and can cause bronchitis and other breathing problems. I don’t think you will be able to stand the health problems associated with smoking, as it can affect the lungs, and your arteries. Don’t do it, choose something else that doesn’t put other people off hugging you are being close to you (stale cigarettes smell horribly).

I suppose if it is something that you have always wanted to do then you should give it a go. Whether you are 90 or 19 it will still adversely affect your health though – not to mention your wallet!

If you think you have too much money and smell too nice then smoking is a perfect solution to resolve those problems

very interesting instead of smoking take up volleyball, the olympics will be coming eround soon for the uk, get yourself trained up and then get some lottery money its great!
